Leanne Roger
IHRT MRCPH BSc
Equine Behaviour Trainer
Leanne was born and raised in North Cornwall. On leaving school, she pursued her passion for horses by completing an NVQ at a local livery/competition yard. She then expanded her education by gaining an FdSc in Equine Sports Performance and Coaching, and then graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in BSc Rural Business Management (specialising in Equine).
Her interests have always been the behaviour and psychology of horses, along with a passion for equine nutrition and performance.
In 2011, Leanne began studying the methods of Monty Roberts and Intelligent Horsemanship, and was awarded the MRPCH in 2014. Leanne has now completed her training and in March 2017 she was invited to become an Intelligent Horsemanship Recommended Trainer (IHRT).
Using non violent methods, and working closely with horse owners, she strives to improve the relationship between horses and their owners, and resolve behavioural issues that have arisen through negative experiences.
Intelligent Horsemanship training has provided Leanne with the skills she currently uses to train horses in a quiet, calm and consistent manner.
